Brian is dedicated to bringing his customers the highest quality coffee possible. In his early days as a business owner, he began as a coffee wholesaler and later on expanded his business to a retail coffee shop in order to serve the community and foster a friendly environment within the neighborhood. In 2021, Yellow Spruce Roasters was awarded Phoenix’s Best Coffeehouse.

Prior to spearheading his entrepreneurial endeavor, Mr. Fernandez served as a wartime military planner in the U.S. Air Force over the course of 23 years of active and reserves duty. After the conclusion of his active duty in the military, he worked as a police officer for the Phoenix Police Department for a number of years until commencing his retirement.

Looking ahead, Mr. Fernandez intends to experience the continued success of Yellow Spruce Roasters. He attributes his success thus far to his perseverance and his own way of side-stepping obstacles.
